A guarantee by credit or debit card is required for all bookings. This will not be charged except where damage or loss of items (including keys) belonging to Alma House has occurred. This includes damage caused by smoking in rooms where rooms will have to be cleaned, re-painted and aired before being occupied by future guests, along with spillages or breakages howsoever caused by you during your stay. Please bring proof of your ID which may be requested on arrival. Standard check-in is from 12:00 and no later than 18:00 unless by prior arrangement. At least 2 days prior to arrival Alma House need to be notified of arrival time (about 2 hours time window). For pre-advised and unavoidable arrivals after 18:00 - arrangements can be put in place. For arrivals before 13:00 luggage can be stored. The office hours are from 8:00 to 18:30 Monday to Friday and from 9:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays. The office is closed on Sundays for bookings but housekeepers are available to service rooms and answer general questions. Check out is by 10:00. An extended checkout until 11:00 may be available by arrangement with the housekeeper on duty. Alma House is a no - smoking and pet-free house – this includes the bedrooms and public areas.
