Whale Tail is a rocky formation in the shape of a whale tail, marking the start of the Marino Ballena National Park in Bahia Ballena, our hometown, the tombolo formation is made when a spit connects the mainland coast to an island, collecting material at the coastline.
Like if that wasn’t amazing enough, Bahia Ballena (Whale’s Bay) coast is home every year to hundreds of migrating humpback whales that rest at this magical bay for months to reproduce, birth, and nurse their calves all along the Ballena Coast.
