Our home is situated on 13 1/2 acres mostly hidden from all other homes and surrounded by farmland. Many covered porches and a patio with tables and a barbeque grill. Guests can mingle in the TV/game room to watch TV and play pool and ping pong. Guests can relax in the great room and enjoy the warmth of the fire & the beautiful view of the mountains. Use the guest kitchen to prepare meals. A fridge is provided for your use.
Basic breakfast foods are available for you to make your own breakfast.

In November 2013 I left on what was to be a 6 week Asia trip. While there I learned of the huge typhoon that had hit the Philippines so I decided to spend two weeks there helping. The two weeks turned into 8 months! I loved doing humanitarian work so much that I decided I wanted to do it the rest of my life so I came home and turned my home into a hostel. I use the monies I make from the hostel to fund my humanitarian trips. So you staying here helps me help others! :)

Important information

We have a very friendly big dog, a Great Dane, named Dirk. He is not allowed in the kitchen or guest's bedrooms.
Important: Your Credit card will be charged 3 days before your arrival. If it is declined and you do not provide an alternative card within 24 hrs your booking will be cancelled.
Quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Please inform us advance of your expected arrival time. Reception and Check in finishes at 10pm so if you are arriving later than that, please let us know.
