About the place
ホステルOne of the most exciting places in South East Asia to watch wildlife it their own elements! Basic accommodation, built within the Kampung's lush green forest, promises an unforgettable stay filled with adventure! You will be able to spot primates such as the ever-energetic long tail & pigtail macaques, the amazing sounding gibbons, the elusive tarsier, lazy slow loris orangutans. The main attraction is the proboscis monkeys, with its long nose & big belly, only found on the island of Borneo.

We organise full jungle treks for different lengths to suit every traveller. PACKAGE INCLUDES: : Return transfer from/to Sandakan/Sepilok area. English speaking guide, all stated meals(2 Dinner/1 Lunch/2 Breakfast), 4 boat cruises, video presentation, 1 night walk, 1 night trekking, room, towel & linen . While trekking to the near by Oxbow lake, Danau Bilit, you will be amazed by the sighting of crocodiles basking along the muddy river banks, bearded pigs , deer& many others!

You will also be able to experience close encounters with the Borneo Pygmy elephant. These elephants are smaller in size, have rather large ears and longer tails than its Asian counterpart. We are located within Kampung Bilit, a village along Kinabatangan river & takes its name from the white trunked-kabilit trees found in the nearby forest. We are easily accessible by car.

Nature Lodge Kinabatangan (NLK) was established on 01st January 2005 and is formerly known as Trekkers Lodge Kinabatangan. It is located in Kg. Bilit at Sukau area (approximately 7 hours drive from Kota Kinabalu City and 2 hours drive from Sandakan Town). Guests will be transfer by boat from the Kg. Bilit jetty to Nature Lodge Kinabatangan, just 3 minutes across the river. Nature Lodge Kinabatangan is out of the normal tourist route and specially built by using recycle wood.
