ホステルLocated just on the edge of the town, La Ruka is a short stroll away onto a beautiful and vibrant jungle side property. It is just far enough way to hear the true sounds of the jungle at night, but close enough for a walk or bike ride to grab a bite to eat and listen to some live music. Walking into the reception you will be welcomed with a warm smile and positive vibes.

At the center of Puerto is the legendary Salsa Brava wave where surfers from around the world come looking to catch this right hand reef break that can hold 12 ft (4m).
Parque Nacional Cahuita, only 25 minutes from the hostel by bus.

Although not centrally located, it only takes 15mins away from Puerto Viejo where the bus station, as well as most restaurants and supermarkets, are located. The advantage is that it is close to the nearby beaches (Cocles Beach). The common spaces have sofas and sockets for you to charge your devices. Wifi is only available in the reception area.
Rooms are good for its price and friendly hosts. The kitchen is big lots of dry storage for your food. You can definitely get in touch with nature.
