ムシア - Bela Muxía
About the place
ホステル
It is a unique hostel, linked to culture and sustainability.
Bela Muxía is a hostel and a thematic story that immerses us in the identity of the sea of the Costa da Morte, Christianised metonymy of old prehistoric cults to the stones, Atlantic West of Europe and end of the Camino de Santiago (Fisterra - Muxía).
The simple interior space you enter has been designed with the same literary tone as its walls. Therefore, we have taken into account the events that have historically marked the small fishing village you are now visiting.
Events that the hostel collects as traces of memory and offers to you, the walker, so that you can share with us the echoes of the old pilgrims who have been here for centuries.
Social and fun
As well as being attractive for tourists looking for relaxation, landscape, heritage or gastronomy, Muxía has other charms, such as being, together with Fisterra, the end of the Jacobean route from Santiago de Compostela to the sea and the westernmost lands of Europe. This means that pilgrims from all over the world visit us all year round

Muxía is one of the most attractive places on the Costa da Morte. Its privileged location on a peninsula offers the possibility of enjoying magnificent panoramic views over the Camariñas estuary, the Vilán lighthouse and the peaks of O Cachelmo and A Buítra. From the rocks of Mount Corpiño, we can contemplate the best views over the town centre and the surrounding landscape. Behind this rocky outcrop lies the point of A Barca, a must for any tourist, where the sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin Mary is located, as well as the well-known stones of Abalar and Os Cadrís.
