Hang out in hip Byron Bay or relax on the spectacular beaches. In the evening enjoy DJ's, Bands, Live Performances at the Byron Bay Brewery or the Zany Talent Show every Tuesday Night.

The Arts Factory Lodge, budget accommodation in Byron Bay, was originally created in the 70's by hippies and local and international artists, in the 80's it was an internationally recognised rock and roll venue. Some say that it's The 'Birthplace' of much of the fame and spirit of Byron Bay, The Arts Factory Lodge still maintains that original spirit today.

The staff are very friendly and happy! There's fun things to do throughout the day and night. Location was good as it was only a short walk to town! Great, chilled atmosphere and captured the magic of Byron!

The staff are very friendly and happy! There's fun things to do throughout the day and night. Location was good as it was only a short walk to town! Great, chilled atmosphere and captured the magic of Byron!
Amazing atmosphere
The rooms and the bathrooms were nice and clean. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the staff were super helpful. The overall vibe was super relaxed and the amenities were good.
Loved the atmosphere, lots of friendly people and always something happening.

A very relaxing atmosphere and not that far away from the centre of Byron Bay.

The overall atmosphere was pretty relaxed and the staff seemed pretty friendly and helpful whenever I needed anything. The coffee was good and fairly reasonable.
Was situated next to brewery and cinema
Atmosphere, very chilled and everyone including staff were friendly. Different nights, one night karaoke and another night a quiz which we won and got $180

The atmosphere was fantatsic, great facilities, staff were very friendly and very helpful, loved the set-up, so different to any hostel ive stayed before

We met up with some Danish friends and had an awesome evening!
Everything is in perfect harmony! The staff, the costumers, everybody is always helpfull and smiling. The food they have at the restaurant has great value and it is delicious. You can learn a little bit of african drums every monday and wednesday morning. You also can help with the organic growing space. Best hostel I have ever been!!

Cinema, facilities and classes on offer. Comfy beds. Cafe had nice food.

I loved that it is located in a rainforest with lakes and swamps. I also like the island retreat tents, gorgeous! The atmosphere is great.
