Ypu don't need to spend money on transportation, everything you require is walking distance, including the central bus station.

The neighbourhood houses all the major embassies, yet you are walking distance to the centre and old part of Nicosia; everything is close by, including supermarkets, transportation, nightlife.
All Universities are on the outskirts of town therefore, students have easy accessibility either walking or public transport.
