The view from the common room is amazing! Staff friendly and helpful, location is ideal for exploring Wanaka, dorms are comfortable with ensuite bathrooms and nice showers.

The kitchen had lots of space and was very clean, the fireplace in the common area made for a very cosy atmosphere and the ensuite bathroom was very nice-it even had a heater.

The view from the main window in the lounge is amazing. Close to city centre.

I would definitely stay here again. It was a great location with a beautiful view of the lake. There was also a big common room which was good for socializing. The rooms were also very clean.

I liked that each dorm had its own bathroom and kitchenette. The rooms were clean, and it gave a nicer way for the dormmates to meet each other. The front room was nice and big and friendly, as well.

The double room we booked was great, in a self contained unit, 2 rooms shared a bathroom, kitchen an living area. Great value for money! They had a large communal area, and a great TV room with a movie at 7.30 every night.

The fact that it feels like a ski-chalet, the amazing views from the lounge and the double room (room 2) where we stayed, actually having bed-side lights which no other YHA's provided (its the small things in life), amount of storage space in room. Reception staff were friendly and helpful and lent us oil to cook with when we forgot ours. The movie nights and the huge projector in the TV room!

The view across the lake was lovely. The room was like a self contained flat, so had a bathroom and kitchen, was like a mini flat. Easy access to the centre, Parking available.

It was clean. The kitchen, tv room, and sitting lounge were big and clean. The location is great. Close enough to the small town. The bed was comfy. The sheets, room, and restroom were clean. Overall it was a good hostel.

Great Community Room with fantastic view on the Lake and Fire Place (great in the evening). Overall facilities & rooms very clean.

Really friendly and helpful staff, the common area was GREAT, fire place, really easy to interact with other people, however was well spaced so wasn't very noisy either. A separate room for computers (and they were more than enough!), reasonably priced internet ($1 for 15 mins). HUGE kitchen, great facilities,j rooms were nice and clean.

My room was great, Bathrooms were clean and hot showers. Plenty of kitchen space and many other facilities to use. Great atmosphere to the hostel wish I could have stayed longer.
