About the place
This 13th-century castle, complete with turrets and a moat, is within walking distance from the beach.
The hostel’s rooms are both in the main building of the castle and in one of the two carriage houses.
The two terrace cafés offer a fantastic view of the surrounding dune landscape.
Stay the night in a castle, sleep in one of the two coach houses. Each room has its own shower and toilet.
Breakfast is also included, and you can rent a bike at the reception.

Domburg is the seaside resort of Zeeland.
The perfect place for sunbathing or getting a breath of fresh air. Situated within five minutes' walking distance of the beach: delightfully in between the forest and the dunes.
Would you like to learn more about the landscape? Then visit the adjacent Terra Maris museum.
From Middelburg train station (15 km) take bus 52 to Domburg. Get off at the 'Kasteel Westhove' stop and walk the last 200 meters to the castle.

Please note that the beds are not made, except for Comfort Double Rooms, but bed linen will be provided and guests are required to make their own bed upon arrival.
Towels are only included in Comfort Double Rooms and Family Rooms. Guests can bring their own towels or rent them at a surcharge of EUR 3.50 per towel.

The staff are very accommodating. It has been a once in a lifetime experience staying in a castle. The interiors are pretty basic which I didn't mind as I think they are trying to preserve the architecture of the castle. They had a variety of choices for breakfast and a bar to chill out at night.

If you want to experience what its like to live in a castle then this is the place for you. You can take great walks on the castle grounds and there is a nearby beach. Great place for families. There is also a reasonably priced bar downstairs for you to chill.
